Attila is getting around pretty well these days. Some might call it crawling, but it isn't really. It's more of a belly drag. She only uses her right leg to push with. Her left leg trails behind but it is usually bent at a 90 degree angle so her left foot sticks straight up in the air -like a flag - or maybe it's some sort of rudder, for steering purposes. I'm not exactly sure.
Her favorite things to "crawl" after are 1) the dog 2) the dog's water dish 3) the door. Luckily, the dog can still outrun her, so he is ok. The water dish has been splashed in a couple of times but I don't think she's eaten any kibble (yet!). But earlier tonight she crawled right over to the patio door and (*bonk*) hit her head on the glass. She was trying to make a break for it but didn't realize the door was closed. I laughed myself silly.
I am a shoo in for "Mother of the Year".

You should put up some of those stickers of birds on the patio door. Except, they'd have to be at Attila-altitude. And, maybe, not birds. You could test different shapes. Goodness knows that there are enough babies around now that you could even have control groups.
I mean, c'mon, parents -- you got these things to experiment on, right?
Hey, if you can't laugh at your kids, who can you laugh at? And at this age, they probably won't be scarred by it.
