- Bathrooms and Kitchens should be constructed so that one could just hook up a hose to the faucet and spray them down. Pressure washer style. You know, do away with all that pesky scrubbing and wiping and streamline the cleaning process. I've seen this done commercially (they always seem to be spraying down the butcher area at the grocery store when I am there, and I hate it because the smell of wet meat is just gross-blech!- but seriously, how convenient that would be in my own home!)
- Desperate Housewives is no longer worth watching. (really, only the first season was ever any good) I haven't gone back since the strike was over and the Jane Austen fest on PBS.
- The Bermuda shorts have been returned. I was really indecisive about it, but then I took my own picture while wearing them, and that was the clincher.
- Adding salt to brownies is the best thing ever. If you are making brownies, add 1/2 teaspoon (or so) of kosher salt to the batter. Just sprinkle it in for the last step and then just gently fold it in. So good! Enhances the chocolate flavor, but gets that salty/sweet thing too.
- If all of Summer was like the month of May, I would spend a lot more time gardening. Today was the perfect day for some yard work, sunny but not too hot, with a little breeze, just right. We were outside most of the afternoon and it was just gorgeous.

It was the perfect day for yard work! I didn't even mind mowing the lawn yesterday.
I would suggest moving to Cambodia if you want the wash down bathroom. there, the shower is just a hose attached to a small water heater and there's a central drain (near the toilet). No walls, no curtain etc. Easy. And, the food there is great too.
