Went to the pumpkin patch this weekend - but we got there late in the day (and late in the season) so the pumpkins were kind of few and far between. I didn't get any really great pictures this year- which I am kind of upset about, but I will get over it. Next year we'll go earlier. Attila did love seeing all the animals, well, except for the llamas. She didn't like it when the llamas so much as looked at her. Can't blame her really, they are kind of shifty-eyed.
The rain cloud costume debuts at preschool tomorrow. It's the dress rehearsal -I've got more materials to fix what doesn't work, or maybe add more things if needed. The original design has worked pretty well, so hopefully we won't have to re-work the whole thing for Friday night. (though tonight Dude suggested that it needed some L.E.D lights. Yeah, that extra cost has not been approved by the producers.)

Bummer about the picked over thing. I think it is always such a balancing act between selection, and not wanting a rotten pumpkin.
Also, when did she grow up so much? Wow.
I think the LED lights would be a bad idea...have Dude read Gypsy if he's not sure why.
I'm bummed. No pumpkins for carving, or, even better, seed roasting (with butter and season salt). YUM!
OK, so how did the costume go?
