Not the typical crib climbing story

Today Attila went in her room to get some blankets from her crib. (she wanted to play "ghost" which has been a big hit since about a week before Halloween). She didn't come back right away so her dad said, "Attila, what are you doing?"
"I need help!"
So he goes to check on her...
Child had climbed INTO her crib. Apparently she knows how to climb up and over -but she has never climbed out- yet. She told Dude that she needed "grown ups to help me get out."
Yes, that's right, you need help. Can't get out on your own, nope! You go right ahead and just ask us for help.
We are already planning on moving her to the big girl bed sooner rather than later, but still, I'd like to enjoy these last few weeks of containment.

Ga! Stupid internet cut out when I was posting my comment.

Anwyay....your story reminds me of "Back to the Future" when MJF sees his Uncle Joey in the play pen and his mom/grandma says that Joey cries every time she takes him out. (Joey ends up spending lots of time in jail if you don't remember).

At least your kid tries to get out. =)

Ah, sweet, sweet containment. Penguin's a bit of a climber, so I expect her to figure out how to get out sooner than Pumpkin did. 'Course, Pumpkin didn't come out too much after the first night she tried when she "bonk head!"ed.

Sprout has no idea that is even possible. Yet. I like it that way.

And I got myself a crib tent and am hoping that if Sam is a climber, that will keep him in. I'm not sure I could get out of that thing if it were properly zipped shut...so I've got some hope :-)
