Had an appointment with the midwife today- the good news is that baby girl #2 is now head down. Yay! She was breech 2 weeks ago - and m/w said that if she wasn't turned by this week we'd have to try a version, which a) sounds painful and b) only works 50% of the time. (Apparently some babies can be very stubborn and they flip back.) But hopefully, now that she is facing the right way, she will stay that way. It's also nice to know that the super pokey part I've been feeling the last few days is probably a heel and not an elbow.
