People who say "nip it in the butt" (or worse, type it) rather than "nip it in the bud".

I like it! I need more fake swears, I fear I'm going to get sloppy if I'm not careful.

I like (or rather don't) "cover all the basis." That doesn't even make sense.
"reoccurring" is not a word, as long as we're all throwing in our peeves.
And I'm totally using "butt-nippers" in traffic tomorrow.
What about the misuse of the word myself. As in "How are you doing?"
response: "well, and yourself?"
And then, "Bob gave that to him and myself." Maybe I've just noticed it more lately. Even the NPR people screw it up!
