Halloween Costume ideas

So apparently the Dude has also seen these turkeys in our yard before, but never mentioned them to me! He's even heard them gobble. So definitely turkeys. Creepy. Ugly. Turkeys.  I am a city girl born and raised, animals belong in the woods, not in one's yard.  ;)

Moving on... We were discussing Halloween costumes this weekend. Attila is going to be a witch. She's been planning on being a witch for months and has been practicing her witchy laugh. She saw this ad and was trying to convince Dude that he should be a wizard.  You have to admit, it is a pretty nice wizard costume.
Then she said that I could be a cow. Gee. Thanks daughter. Really a cow? Why a cow?
Because it's in the picture- over there on the right. See the horns? A cow.

Dude said if I wanted to be THAT kind of cow, that would be fine by him.

AT least it's a fancy looking cow - no black and white spots :)

My favorite is the purple feather trim that particular cow is wearing! ;) Pumpkin's going to be a vampire... I'm currently working on the cape. Penguin keeps switching between witch, cat & vampire, too. At least they're all mostly black, so costuming is a little flexible.

Such a foreign land your houses are. My kids got the two warmest costumes MIL could find at Goodwill. They will be a raccoon and a bumblebee.

I have a fabulous idea for me and pants, but we're gonna need a party. Ok, it was Pants' idea. But FAB. U. LOUS.

The best part of that costume would be telling people what you were. (Though I'm sure Dude would beg to differ as far as the "best part" thing.)

And hey, Syl, y'know, you have been invited to a party....
