Vindication!

Energy company officials confirmed today that a profusion of dust in AKJen's home was due to dryer issues and not lazy housekeeping as previously thought. A whole house energy audit located a leaky dryer vent that is allowing dust to escape into the basement and then be distributed via the furnace duct to other areas of the home. Simple remediation should solve the conflict.
According to Energy Consultant Dan, sealing the dryer vent should ease the problem.

"When you complete action item #7, you should see less dust here in the bedroom," he said. Research has also indicated that errant dryer lint can contribute to "unhealthy air quality levels for people with asthma", Dan said.

Other action items and improvements are up for discussion at the AKJen home and a full Energy Report and audit will be distributed via email within the next week. When asked for comment, Attila, who also lives at the residence, said,
"She does clean, well, when the baby is sleeping. It doesn't bother me. Can you get my scissors down? I want to make some crafts."
