I actually got my money refunded to me! YAY! The thief sent about half of the total amount to one of the board managers who then went and refunded the first half of the victims. (this is why it pays that my e-mail addy starts with an "A" :) So I got my $33 refunded to my PayPal. Of course, now my cash is locked up in PayPal jail (unless I want to pay $1.50 for a check) or I find something else to buy through PayPal. Sheesh- that's just a different kind of theft really. Also there is a plan in place for her to pay back the remaining victims so hopefully that will pan out too. See? Those knot girls aren't all bad.

Seriously, I was wondering just this morning as to the status of the great shoe heist. Yay for money back, boo for it being trapped, and dang, those itty bitty shoes are cute!
