Good news- the tire was patch-able. Yay!
This is part of the trouble with finding a new car:
Here is my dream car The Toyota Highlander Hybrid. But it is a little pricey, and there is a very very long waitlist...
Here is Dude's
Here is Attila's
Here is Sammie's (Dogs like trucks)
Now granted Sammie and Attila don't really get a vote, but you can see the trouble.
I've been trying some new things lately (I know, can you believe it?) and I wanted to let you know what I think:
Cheers- Things I love.
Everyday Minerals makeup. This is the cheaper version of that other mineral make-up, Bare Minerals. (you know the one with the late night infomercials?) I never thought I would like mineral make up- but I do, I really do. It feels like you are not wearing makeup at all, but it actually evens out my skin tone. There is a little bit of a learning curve to applying it correctly, but after trying the free sample (you just pay shipping) I am hooked. This is big, I haven't really changed up the makeup routine since high school (well except I generally wear less now).
I made banana bread and didn't have walnuts. I used pecans instead, it was very yummy. Also, cream cheese on the banana bread = super yummy. Who knew?
Chicken Florentine - currently perfecting the recipe for this one.
Rice Cereal- she wasn't too sure about it at first, but then she liked it! Bananas have also been a big hit.
Things I am just "meh" about
Ben & Jerry's Black and Tan ice cream. It tastes like, well, it tatses like stout. And that is just weird in your ice cream! It's not bad, but it's not great either. Usually a pint of B&J doesn't last long around here (and is a rare sight in the freezer because of that) but this one has been hanging around for almost 2 weeks now.
Jeers- Things I will not be trying
KFC ickybowl
Food like this should not touch! Food like this demands those little sectioned off plates. Anything else is just wrong, very very wrong.
Thank you, my name is Jen

Yeah, we're BIG fans of the cream cheese and banana bread around here. In fact, Pumpkin's first birthday cake was a banana bread muffin with cream cheese for the frosting with a single Malteaser on the top to make it festive. She loved it (especially the candy!)
Also, LOVED Dude's dream vehicle. Since I was actually expecting something more... terrestrial? (that just looks wrong without "extra" in front of it) ... it made me laugh out loud!
