Ok- so I didn't last very long on the whole not washing the hair thing. It was way too hot today not to wash it. I have a feeling that this is not an experiment one should try in the middle of summer. Also, I am sure my friend who is getting married in about 6 weeks would prefer not to have me be known as "the bridesmaid that doesn't wash her hair". Perhaps this experiment is best shelved until October or so.
And in case you are interested, I think this is the original article. Why can't Americans write like Brits? Blimey!

Yeah, I had been only washing mine every other day...but then I got back to every day, but I don't remember why. Gotta switch back to every other day anyway - faster & easier! - but I don't know if I'm ready for longer than that. Maybe when I know we're not going to have visitors for a while I'll try the no-shampoo-just-warm-water deal for a little longer.
BTW, at least the broccoli was worth a try! I mean, with the thai peanut sauce, you'd think it would have disguised the taste some. Oh well.
Oh it did disguise it some- quite a bit actually. It was the best broccoli I've ever had. :P
A whole 24 hours! Oh my god, I still love Nick Rhodes.
I just can't imagine making it past the crawly-scalp portion of this experiment, even if it were guaranteed to work eventually.
Pusher, this experiment is not for you. You shave your legs everyday compulsively, obsessively. I think you floss every night, admit it. Those of us that have been au naturel in the leg department for months (partially due to the fact that I can't actually see my legs) might have better luck.
