Attila's first siege

Well the Trebuchet was assembled and there was a silo to knock down so we all attended "The Siege" this weekend. The knocking down was supposed to start at noon, but one of the wooden pieces was not holding up so well and had to be replaced with a piece of steel. That took awhile, so the true throwing didn't start until about 4pm- which was perfect for Attila and I since we couldn't be there earlier. I was really glad to get a chance to see the "Trebbie" in person and in action. More pics over at Plauge of Roses too

Weight watchers for rocks. Having a hard time losing that extra slate? Put on a little sandstone over the holidays? Special meeting to work on your particular geological needs. Meets Sundays, 3pm...

See that small speck in the upper left? That's a rock.

The damage - there are two small holes on the upper right section, and then the two knocked out windows.

**Special note: I am hating photobucket right now! I spent much time readjusting the size of all of these photos so they would all be the same size, but a few of them are still posting in their original size- FOR NO REASON! The delay is so frustrating. I may have to learn how to flickr or something.

GREAT pix!!! Looks like a fun time was had by all. (Except the rocks, bowling ball, and silo, of course.) Wish we could have been there. Love Attila's comments! :)
