Recognize safety achievement!

OSHA is going to have to send me one of these posters. With Attila getting more and more brave about walking and climbing, the level of bumps and bruises is at an all time high. But today was a really good day. So even though her lip is still black and blue from yesterday, I was bragging to Dude about how accident free today had been, "She didn't hurt herself at all today!" (Hooray for me, throw me a parade, I am MOTY! (mother of the year) And *just* as I said that, the girl walks over and smacks her head on the coffee table. Right on the eyebrow. Whoops! There went my dreams of putting a "1" on the safety poster. No achievement certificate for this job site. Ah well. Maybe tomorrow.

I took a particularly spectacular fall when I was just slightly older than Attilla and my parents didn't take me out in public for almost two weeks because they didn't want to be acused of abusing me. Good luck on making it past a day.

Yeah, this phase lasts awhile. Try having a kid who looks like her skin is threatening to fry off everytime she rubs it.

Yes, but just think of the world domination cred she gets from looking so tough!

The time La Mancha had two emergency room visits in 24 hours is still the gold standard for me (and how disappointing that the nickname "Snaggletooth" didn't catch on).
