Typical

I walked into baby class this morning and noted that Stuart's mom was wearing a lot of eye make-up. She's one of those natural beauties anyway, but she looked really nice. And then, I noticed that one of the teachers was wearing a blazer. I've never seen her in anything other than a t-shirt and jeans. She looked pretty nice too. I was still totally oblivious until the photographer walked in. And that's when Louie's mom (who was also wearing a co-ordinated outfit) reminded me that it was class picture day. And ALL the moms looked pretty nice. Gah.
What was I wearing? Jeans and my Old Navy sweatshirt.
And where did they make me sit? Right down in front.
*eye roll*
They didn't even let me hold Attila in front of me for coverage. Oh no. She was picked to sit up on the steps of the slide front and center. Because she is such a ham.
I'm sure it will make a lovely momento.

...Yeah, but you look aggravatingly cute stepping out of a tent first thing in the morning even on a camping weekend without showers, so I'm having a hard time imagining that you looked anything less than fabulous, Old Navy sweatshirt or no.

Seconding Pusher. Years from now, you get to point out that you look that wonderful every day, while everyone else needed costuming.

Thanks ladies. I really wasn't fishing for compliments- honest (though I will take them! ;)
And Kashka- you make a good point, at least Attila will know what her mom really looked like everyday. No need to set her up for that whole June Cleaver thing. Look at me, tearing down unrealistic expectations left and right!

I agree. Those stylish moms piss me off. I can barely get myself dressed and functional in a day, women who look chic and sophisticated when they have little children annoy me. What, did you just stay up and spruce up a little after the 4 a.m. feeding? Ick.

Don't even get me started on clean houses.
