Fall is a lovely time of year- that's when all the new and "serious" Movies and TV shows come pouring out and it makes me very happy.
Did you watch Pushing Daisies on Wednesday night? If you missed it, they are re-playing the pilot on Friday (that's tonight by the time you see this) on ABC and you need to sit down and watch this show. I am madly in love and not ashamed to admit it. It's more like a movie than a TV show and it's dark and funny and heartbreaking all at once. It's sort of like Tim Burton/James and the Giant Peach/Big Fish/ Pleasantville/Wonderfalls and Men in Black all got together and had a quirky party and this is the result. Love! Oh, and Jim Dale who narrated the Harry Potter audio books, is also the narrator for this show. He's the perfect choice.

I can not wait! I am always telling Johnny that I love him best when he is being all dark and weird. Which, um, now that I think about it, is pretty much all of the time. :) I suppose there have been a few roles (like Chocolate) where he is just mysterious and that is ok too, but dark and weird is best. Plus, he's going to sing! Squee!

Yes, well, you're only telling Johnny that when it's YOUR turn for him to visit. I think he needs to come and sing dark romantic songs under my window in the moonlight, yes, I do, and look up with those intense eyes...
*grin*
Dammit, AKJ! I let myself start watching Journeyman as my new show to watch this season and then I got sucked into Private Practice (please don't think less of me) and now you have me wanting to watch Pushing Daisies! I will be watching way too much tv! Hmmm..maybe I could give up Private Practice....
Airlea-It's on right before Private Practice (which I am still giving a try, but I am not sure I'll keep watching it) so you can watch both! ;)
i've only just finished watching top chef and now have to start project runway....i've no time for all these other shows.
for so long network tv has sucked...now that i'm not watching it anymore it seems like there are lots of good stuff coming out.
i'll depend on you for updates and for letting me know which shows i should really watch.
johnny is going to sing? i've been following him since 21 jump street and he never ceases to amaze me.
