Hey, did you know I have a blog?

Um sorry to leave that last post up there for so long. We're fine, and alive and healthy (yay!) and the husband never did get sick. (thank goodness, men are such babies when they are sick. Am I right ladies? You know I am right.)
I just went from being sick to having to start classes up again to doing the taxes to blah blah busycakes, whatever. Let's move on.

I did write a rant about a crazy mom I had on the first day of classes, but it needs to be cleaned up and edited a bit before I can post it. I will go see what I can do.

Men are bigger babies than the babies when they're sick. Glad to hear you're all OK and just busy.

I concur on the sick men theory.

But I must give Mr. Kluges credit that when he is sick (and apparently therefore helpless), he's always very grateful and appreciative of the extra work I do, cups of tea I bring him, that I (try) to keep the girl(s) quiet so he can nap, etc.

Glad to see you back & looking forward to the crazy mom post!

One more way in which Puck and I are apparently gender-swapped. I'm much more of a baby when I'm sick than he is.

Looking forward to the crazy-mom rant. :-)

there is a quote from Charles Lamb that always comes to mind when i see my husband lying on the couch moaning and groaning about how sick he is.
it goes something like this......" How sickness enlarges the dimensions of a man's self to himself!"

Ha! I know what it's like. We can get busy at times. The title of your post made me smile.

I too agree with the men=babies when sick theory. Why is it that we try hard to help them be more comfortable when they're sick but there's no recipocation? Hmmm....
