Good Things

  • One more day of workshops, then I am on summer vacation.
  • There are two baby birds in a nest in the bush outside our living room window. We can sit in the window and see their little beaks perfectly. (I have pics to upload, but I have to charge my camera battery first)
  • Nathan Fillion. Love. Pusher is right, you must watch Dr. Horrible's sing-along-blog.
  • Listening to Mary Lucia on my commute home. I almost always love everything she plays. Today she played Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself for Loving You", and I listened to it really loud and it was the awesome.
  • The signs on the freeway that tell me "xx minutes to the river". They are surprisingly accurate. And you know? they do alleviate my road rage a bit.
  • The center we have been sending Attila to has been so great. They have really great teachers and have been just wonderful. It has really made life so much easier this last month and we are really going to miss them.
  • The air conditioning at the school I am at this week has finally been repaired.
  • One of my new favorite websites: Passive-aggressive notes People send in notes from all over. I think I like the roommate ones the best. Though the office ones are usually pretty funny too.
