What is it about taking a picture of the kid on the front steps on the first day of school? It's a classic American image. Of course, if you're the Beauty Queen, you also make them recreate it as they leave the house for college and on their first day of actual work (complete with Garfield lunchbox).

Woo hoo! First day of preschool for my boys too, and daughter started kindergarten last week. Hard to believe, eh?!

You didn't cry? Really? I would have been sobbing. I told my friend today that I don't even know if I can bring myself to enter Avery into pre-school because I don't think my heart can take it. Hoepfully, she'll start acting like a really big brat and I'll want to put her into school... it will be much easier that way!
