I've got a few things to post about, but they don't really fit all together. This is the perfect time for a bulleted list. (by the way, if you do these on your blog too- I actually find them pretty entertaining to read- it lets me see how your mind works ;)
- I have blogged every day so far! Yay! A couple of my dates have been wrong (Nov. 19 and um, now today) but because I blog late at night (usually before I go to bed) the dates don't always match up. Yeah, I could fudge them, but it doesn't bother me enough to do so.
- Ok it bothers part of me. But the other part of me keeps telling that OCD part to shut up.
- I have been frequenting a website that brings up a little pop up preview box that lets you see the first 5o words or so of the post or the article. I LOVE it and have quickly become addicted. I now expect everything that my mouse hovers over to give me a preview and it's disapointing when that doesn't happen.
- I am in mourning for Pushing Daisies. It's been canceled and I want to cry. I am considering draping the TV in black and breaking up with ABC. (don't even get me started on the fiasco that is Grey's Anatomy) Maybe I should break up with network television altogether. As it is, I am never speaking to the Nielson families again. I think the earlier time slot is what killed this show, that and the fact that the TV industry still uses the Nielson system at all when it's antiquated and pretty much useless. Grr!
- Yesterday in the car Attila told me: "Mama? When I grow bigger I am gonna drive a car too." And then she thought for a little bit and added: "Don't worry I will put a seat in the back seat for ya." Thanks hon.
- I love our trees. I hate picking up the leaves. We can never get them all.
- I can't wait for Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving.
- I really need to get to bed. I should not be up this late!
- It looks pretty unanimous about the cabinet pulls. Which is good, because that really does help me decide. I do like the black ones best. However, I have learned that just because I have made a decision doesn't necessarily move my projects along any faster. :) Usually it does though.
- I think I am either going to bring roasted asparagus or broccoli salad stuff for T-day at my aunt's house. I am going to have to call and find out what she doesn't have already covered. Hopefully, one of those options will work. I am not crazy about bringing broccoli since I am not a huge fan myself, but it's a cold salad so it's less work and I don't have to worry about keeping it warm. I tried out a sort of pineapple bread pudding recipe, but in the end I think that is something that would go much better with ham (so maybe for Easter?) than with the traditional thanksgiving stuff.
- I have been meaning to recommend the book "A Question of Attraction" by David Nicholls. Very funny, very British. It's a story about a young man in his first year at university and it's set in 1985. So much adolescent awkwardness, but funny and endearing at the same time.
- I am going to see Twilight on Sunday. I am going to a matinee and I am going all by myself and I am going to eat all the Dots and popcorn that I want to. It's going to be fabulous. Also I am pretty sure Robert Pattinson is going to fall maddly in love with me and I am going to have to break his twee little vampire heart.
- Did anyone else see the South Park with the Goths vs. the Vampires? Hee! They turn Butters into a vampire by taking him to Hot Topic. :) You can see clips or the full episode over here.

I love bulleted lists, too. Yay!
If you make the asparagus, be careful for the wild spitting of the sauce when you add stuff to the hot browned butter. Seriously - have a lid or spatter shield in your other hand or you will be sorry.
Yay for movies ALL BY YOURSELF! I've done it a couple times when I was grumpy & felt much better afterwards. Also, "twee little vampire heart?" Funny!
