I almost forgot to post today!

I can't believe I am cutting it this close! (well hell, I totally can believe it and I knew it would happen at some point, I just didn't know or think it would happen this early on in the month.)
It's been a busy day though so I have a good excuse. I even got some x-mas shopping done. Because of Attila, I am so so so excited for Christmas this year (and her birthday too!) I can't wait to watch her open presents and see the tree and eat chocolate and just all that cool fun holiday/birthday stuff. It's kinda hard not to buy her everything in sight. It's also hard not to just give her everything I buy right now, because I know she will like it, and she won't know the difference between getting it now and getting it on Christmas morning. I am not going to do it, but it's hard.
Anyway, when I was shopping earlier today there was an announcement on the speaker about today being veterans day and thanking the vets and our current military service men and women. It was really nice, and not too rah, rah republican either. It's just not the kind of thing you ever hear anymore- especially on the loud speaker at a busy store! And no, I wasn't even at Walmart! (evil evil evil)
