I love nature

One thing that I really like about our neighborhood are the mature trees. They are all over the place and they are very large and shady. I swear, in the summertime, our hood is about 10 degrees cooler than everywhere else. When we first looked at our house, one of the things I loved was the big trees, it made our street feel homey and welcoming. Still does. However, we've now cut down 3 trees since we moved in and we still have SO MANY $%&# LEAVES!
Tonight, just in the driveway, I filled 8 bags. That's before actually raking. Ahhhh! If you have to scoop up leaves with the snow shovel you know you have a serious problem. (I thought of the snow shovel thing myself and I gotta tell you, it is genius. I've tried to do the same scoop action thing with the rake, but the rake is too big for the bag, and you lose a lot of leaves. The snow shovel works really well. I should market it and make a million.)

Sorry for the late post today- just squeaking in under the wire. I haven't had a lot of coherent thoughts today- just feeling sort of off.

I was at the mall yesterday and I stopped in the bath and body works for some soap and the nice girl there didn't have a lot to do so she asked if I would like a lotion sample. Sure, I said. And she rubbed the lotion into my hand for me. Now don't go thinking I am a freak, but it felt so good. It was even a little relaxing. I seriously need a massage.
