- Our house is a mess. Toys and boxes all over the place. Plus lots of laundry and dishes to do. *sigh*
- There are too many trash bags for the trash can.
- I am already thinking about packing the x-mas decorations away.
- The fridge is an unholy conglomeration of leftovers and extras of things that didn't get used for cooking or baking.
- We have weird bags of cookies; two of this, one of that, three of those.
- The day after I posted about Attila being flexible and easy-going she turned into a pill. The lack of (naps!) schedule over the last few days was starting to get to all of us. I'm looking forward to getting back to our day to day routine. This week is still kind of wonky, next week will be better.
- I have seen certain family members more this week than I have all year.
- Attila thinks that now that x-mas is over, winter will soon be over too. She keeps asking about spring & summer.
- There is never enough time to see everyone. All told, we went to 6 gatherings - which was great to see everyone, and we usually only had one per day, but I still feel like I didn't get to spend enough time with the important people and like we didn't have much down time over the weekend to just be home. There has to be a happy medium but I don't think we quite found it this year.

I SO hear you about the mess. Just sub in "unpacking" for "unholy conglomeration."
We are certainly glad we got to see you three in person!!! Thanks for fitting us in!
I, too, have made the mistake of publicly declaring that my kid is a good and easy child to take care of.
Payback was a hundred-fold; teething for weeks at a time, 1am barfing, and nights spent screaming more than sleeping.
I'll never say anything nice about my children ever again. That should straighten things out, right?
