I've got my summer workshop this week- only one week this year (last year I did 3 weeks) It's less due to one location closing and also because the ex-boss man has a lighter schedule this summer too, so I don't have to cover any weeks for him. It's good and bad. Good in that I only have to do one week (and Dude could take it off from work so we don't have to pay for daycare) and bad in that it's not as much cash for me and a lot of prep/work for only one week. But anyway, it's going well. Though I always say that on Tuesday - it's Thursday (and the dress rehearsal) when things get hairy.
Do you remember the crazy Helicopter mom I wrote about last summer? The one who wanted her daughter to be Dorothy? She's baaaaaaacccckkkk! They always come back... *sigh*. But she's not been a problem at all this week. She did remind me that her daughter didn't want to play a boy again, but it's a non -issue since we have an all animal cast. Dodged that one.
